He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Williams and Jewell Williams; his wife Shirley Williams; his sister Wiladean Popham; his uncle Kemo Kelley; and his aunt Gladys Taylor.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Cooley (Marty), Patricia Franklin (Wayne) and Gina Winkler (Jeffrey). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Walker Chapel Funeral Home (1200 Ellard Rd, Fultondale, AL 35068). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
