With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lincoln Barry Edwards (Birmingham, Alabama), born in Fultondale, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 77. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lincoln may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobart and Martha; and his wife Martha Pennington Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Steven "Steve" Edwards and Beth Bryson (Angel Bullock); his grandchildren, Kalev Edwards, Roxy Bryson, Kaitlyn Bryson and Lacy Bryson; his sister Faye Fulmer; his niece Alicia Belcher (Linda); and his adoptive daughter Amanda Missildine.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Trussville (2107 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
