She was predeceased by: her husband James Riley Witt; her parents, Lois Rual and Lizzy Inglett; and her siblings, Gwen Eddie and Bobby Inglett (Jimmy Inglett).
She is survived by: her sons, J. R. Witt, Jr. (Lisa) and Keith Witt (Tammy); her grandchildren, Nikki Witt Jones (Clint) and Lindsi Crenshaw (Robert); her great grandchildren, Sofia Speights, Matty Newell, Averi Crenshaw, Asher Crenshaw and Julia "JJ" Jones; and her sister Florence Parker. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens (Jefferson Memorial Gardens Dam, Birmingham, AL 35235).
