She was predeceased by: her husband James K. Spader, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Spader Carpenter of Birmingham, Joan Spader Riosa of Birmingham and James Spader III (Kendall) of Atlanta; and her grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter Bazemore (Tom), Kelly Carpenter Webb (Ezell), Tracy Carpenter Colley (Clay), Courtney Carpenter Andre (John), Michelle Riosa Reis (Mitch), Michael Riosa (Krista), Virginia Spader Woods (Nathan), Jessica Spader Jones and James Spader III (Allyson). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
