She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel McGaughy and Edgar McGaughy; her grandmother Little Mama; her parents-in-law, Harris and Bessie Thomas (Cecil Thomas); her siblings-in-law, Sally, Donald Thomas and Jimmy T. Beasley; and her sister Caroline McGaughy Beasley.
She is survived by: her son David; her nieces, Alison Beasley Siegle (Scott) and Melanie Thomas Dixon (Randy); and her pets, Kitty Thomas and Gracie Nesbit Thomas.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Baptist Church (1670 Alton Rd, Birmingham, AL 35210). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Valhalla Cemetery (839 Wilkes Rd, Birmingham, AL 35228).
