She was predeceased by: her parents, Launey Jonathan Thomas and Elsie Lodge Thomas; her husband James Agee Plylar; and her daughter Carolyn Plylar McKenzie. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Plylar Angell and Marion Plylar Webb; her grandchildren, Meredith Lodge McKenzie, James Thomas McKenzie, Laurel of Launey Angell, Jonathan Paul Angell, Thomas Agee Webb, William Ward Webb and Marion Hanlin Webb; and her niece Ann Plylar Cornelius.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the The-Highlands Episcopal Church (1910 12th Ave S, Birmingham, AL 35205). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's-on-the-Highlands Episcopal Church, University of Alabama National Alumni Association, James Agee Plylar Scholarship Fund, University of Alabama National Alumni Association, Percy Newton Plylar Scholarship Fund, or a charity of your choice.
