With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Frances Maples of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion McCormick and Thelma McCormick; her husband Jerry Maples; and her brother Nolan McCormick. She is survived by: her children, Ron Guthrie (Taunya), Jennifer Hamrick (Brett), Jerrie Burns (Jeff), Tony Maples (Tammie) and John Maples (Chasity); and her pet Lily. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to John Carroll Catholic High School or the American Cancer Society.
