She was predeceased by: her parents, William Orr and Beatrice Barnett Orr; and her siblings, Larry Orr and Rita Bishop. She is survived by: her husband Edwin E. Massey; her daughters, Julie Massey and Sheila Mitchell (Brian Earnest); and her grandchildren, Madison Mitchell, Leigh Stacks, Maddox Mitchell and Thomas Earnest.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
