She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joseph Terrell Spencer; her children, Missy R. Nolen (Bo) and Robert O. Roebuck (Meg); her grandchildren, Mary Elise Nolen Davison (Ben), Megan Nolen, Dorsey Roebuck and Robert Roebuck, II; her great grandchild Knox Davison; her grandchildren, Joseph and Serena Spencer; Anna Spencer, Jay Spencer (Meredith) and Scott Spencer.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in her honor to Canterbury United Methodist Church, the American Heart Association, the Parkinson Association of Alabama, or Oasis Counseling.
