With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Sandra West Blackmon of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mason and Mary Kate West; and her brothers, Dr. Fred and Ben West. She is survived by: her daughter Katie Blackmon Ingram; her son-in-law Clay Ingram; her grandsons, Zack Ingram and Jake Ingram (Nicholle); and her brothers, Don West (Maureen) and David West (Vickie).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Hospital, which is a cause she felt very strongly about and donated to routinely.
