She was predeceased by: her father Walter Bizzell; and her grandparents, Joe, Willie Mae Russell and Catherine Bizzell. She is survived by: her son Cory Hill Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama; her mother Dorothy Bizzell of Livingston, Alabama; her siblings, Vincent Hodge (Ruth) of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Victoria Russell of Canton, Ohio and Veronica Thomas (Jermaine) of McCalla, Alabama.; her siblings' children, Jon Tyler Sharp, Ashton Thomas, Allison Sharp, Brooke Thomas, Lauren Thomas and Olivia Hodge; and her pet Zeus. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, a large circle of cousins, extended family, sorority sisters, colleagues, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Sixth Avenue Baptist Church (1101 Martin Luther King Jr Dr, Birmingham, AL 35211).
