With sadness, we share the passing of Nadim George Shunnarah of Birmingham, Alabama. Nadim, born on October 7, 1949, passed away on July 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Nadim for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nasir Shunnarah and Badia Salameh Totah; his wife Cleopatra "Cleo" Shunnarah; and his siblings, Nuha Shunnarah, Nabeel Shunnarah, Samir Shunnarah and Hanna Shunnarah.
He is survived by: his son Nadim George Shunnarah Jr.; and his sisters, Rose Cook and Fadwa Shunnarah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
