With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Otis Lee Pruitt Sr. of Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Beavers and Arthur Pruitt. He is survived by: his children, AJ Pruitt, Janay Smith, Lisa Smith and Devin Pruitt; and his sisters, Elma Lucille Cooper of Rhode Island and Ella L. Bridges of Birmingham, Alabama.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
