We announce the death of Patricia Gaskey of Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Gaskey; her parents, Bill Thompson and Georgia Thompson; her parents-in-law, Howard and Bessie Gaskey; her sisters, Billie Simpson and Elizabeth Graybeal; her siblings-in-law, Billy Jo Gaskey, Johnny Graybeal, Howard "Bug" Gaskey, George Simpson, Sr., Betty Gaskey and Gloria Gaskey; her nieces, Jill Conner and Amy Davis; her great grandchild Odin Wright; and her nephews, Barry Graybeal and George Simpson, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Donna Wright (Bo), Tracy Bittle (Mark), Wendy Clark and Rex Gaskey (Tommie); her grandchildren, Chris Wright, Erica Wright, Justin Wright, Emily Green (Jared), Erin Wills (Matt), Brad Bittle (Candace), Mackenze Clark, Madison Deerman (Trenton) and Blake Clark; her great grandchildren, Chase Bittle, Tyson Green and Shepard Deerman; her sister Cheryl Davis; her sister-in-law Gail Burr (James); and her close friend Ann Tolbert. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
