She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Clemons and Mary Matthews; and her brothers, Nathaniel Clemons Jr., Otis Clemons Sr. and Ronnie Clemons.
She is survived by: her former husband TaDarryl Pardon; her daughter Lasheka Pardon Barnes; her grandchildren, Jasmin Henderson Goldsmith (Curtis) and Jalin Henderson (Kamiyah); her great grandchild Carsten Goldsmith; her goddaughter De'Ja Johnson; her sister Dorothy Large (Doug); her stepsister Brenda Jenkins; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Brown, LaFair McCord, Nadine Frieson (Lloyd), Amanda Spencer (Bernard), Emmetta Jean Pardon, Barbara King (John), Keisha Pardon and Mittie Clemons; and her nieces, Pamela McGruder and Kendra Jennings. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, church family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church (221 Roebuck Dr, Birmingham, AL 35215). A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235).
