She was predeceased by: her son Richard Bearden; her parents, Carl Whisenhunt and Hazel Whisenhunt; and her siblings, Charles Whisenhunt, Ray Whisenhunt, Carl "Bitty" Whisenhunt, Sonny Whisenhunt and Shelby Thrasher.
She is survived by: her husband Geary Blaylock; her daughter Wendy Pender; her stepchildren, Timmy King (Caroline), Chris Blaylock, Craig Blaylock (LeAnn) and Crystal Jester (Kevin); her grandchildren, Catherine Pender, Faith Joiner (Amber), Serenity Jester, Savannah Jester, Sophia Jester, Dylan Pender, Dalton Jester, Devon Jester (Brandi), Christian Blaylock, Brayden King, Matthew Blaylock (Katelyn), Nick Blaylock (Ashlyn) and Kyle Blaylock (Mary); and her siblings, Shirley Robertson, Larry Whisenhunt (Deborah) and David Whisenhunt (Sheila). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ridout's Trussville Chapel (1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
