He was predeceased by: his mother Madeleine Jacobs Stallings; his former wife Mary Jemison Grover; and his wife Edah Brittain Grover. He is survived by: his children, Molly Grover Miller (Dwight), Elizabeth Grover Guffey (Steve) of Morgantown, WV, John Calvin Stallings Grover (Beth Holley) of Asheville, NC and Madeleine Grover Warren (Tim) of Savannah, GA.; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Simcoe (Owen), Rebecca Darby (John), Emily Northington (Wes), Eric Guffey (Regina), Walker Guffey (Amanda) and Keegan Guffey (Sara).
