It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Allen Nail (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Alfred and Mary Elizabeth Nail; his siblings, William Nail, Jimmy Nail and Bobbye Nail; and his parents-in-law, J. A. and Willie Mae Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Nail; his children, Dimica Dutton (Andy) and Rick Nail (April); and his grandchildren, Chase Dutton (Riley), Blake Dutton (Lacey) and Alaina Nail. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their children.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Salvation Army, Jimmie Hale Mission, or Gardendale Presbyterian Church.
