He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Dudley (Robby) of San Diego and Cathy Melvin (Michael) of Homewood; his grandchildren, Spencer Lewis Foss, Lila Grace and Camille Grace Melvin; and his caregiver Curstine "Peaches" Smith.
