He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie Layton and Eula Bell Layton; and his brother Billy Joe. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Layton; his children, Paula Layton and Doug Layton (Shannon); his grandchildren, Trent Layton (Heather), Brandt Roberts, Natalie Sherron (Ty) and Logan Layton; his great grandchildren, Waylon Nash, Harper Rae and Loretta Jane; and his siblings, Jimmy, Wallace, Donald Layton and Anne Hawkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
