It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dabal of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Passaic, New Jersey, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Suchy Dabal and Bernard Dabal; and his sisters, Patsy Szucs (Lou) and Barbara Louridas (George). He is survived by: his wife Joan Ann Price Dabal; his son Robert "Bob" Dabal (Jamie); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Caroline and Alexander; and his sisters, Maryann Melus (Rick) and Eileen Baron (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Callahan Eye Hospital at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
