He was predeceased by: his parents, Mullins Wilkerson and Lois Farrow; his brother Dean Wilkerson; his stepsiblings, Michael Farrow, Jerry Wilkerson and Glenda Acton; and his daughter Rebecca Imboden.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Bates Wilkerson; his sons, Robert Gordon Wilkerson Jr. and Alan Wilkerson; his stepson Michael Morrow; his daughters, Beth Alldredge, Kathy Adams and Mary Christine Wilkerson (Chrissy); and his stepdaughter Virginia Morrow Roberts of Denver. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
