We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Robert Michael Montiel of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Gadsden, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonzalo Fitch Montiel and Voncile Long Buffat; and his brother Ricardo Fitch Montiel (Mindy). He is survived by: his wife Antionette Maggiore Montiel; his children, Ashley Jones (Pete), Tiffany Arnall (Mark), Holley Ellis (Scott), Mary-Michael Neese (John Ashley), Robert Gonzalo Montiel and Rett Montiel (Amy); the mother of his children Gaye Steadman; and his grandchildren, Peterson Jones, Steadman Jones, Ann Archer Atkins, Will Arnall, Kathryn Arnall, Hannah Arnall, Landon Neese, Lucy Neese, Lynlee Neese, Lawson Neese, Cole Montiel and Everly Montiel.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (7340 Cahaba Valley Rd, Vestavia Hills, AL 35242). A burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
