He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonzalo Fitch Montiel and Voncile Long Buffat; and his brother Ricardo Fitch Montiel (Mindy). He is survived by: his wife Antionette Maggiore Montiel; his children, Ashley Jones (Pete), Tiffany Arnall (Mark), Holley Ellis (Scott), Mary-Michael Neese (John Ashley), Robert "Bo" Gonzalo Montiel and Michael "Rett" Everett Montiel (Amy); the mother of his children Gaye Steadman; and his grandchildren, Peterson Jones, Steadman Jones, Ann Archer Atkins, Will Arnall, Kathryn Arnall, Hannah Arnall, Mary Ashton Ellis, Durham Ellis, Landon Neese, Lucy Neese, Lynlee Neese, Lawson Neese, Cole Montiel and Everly Montiel.
