It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Oswald West (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. West and Claudia W. West; his siblings, J. Alton Askew and Anita W. Chafin; and his wife Alberta J. West (Bert).

He is survived by: his nephews, Larry Chafin (Debra) and Eddie Powell (Melanie); and his niece Janet C. Cox (Robert).

Memorials may be made to South Roebuck Baptist Church or John Croyles' Big Oak Ranch.
