It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Walker (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Walker to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Robert Earl Walker and Eleanor Colson Walker; and his brother James C. Walker. He is survived by: his children, Dr. John Robert Walker (Catherine) of Gadsden, AL and Ellie Sherman (Nate) of Atlanta, GA; the mother of his children Rebecca M. Walker; his grandchildren, Ella Scott, Isla and Walker Sherman; and his stepgrandchildren, Cate and Jack Larkin. He is also survived by His son and daughter, their spouses and his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bluff Park United Methodist Church (733 Valley St, Birmingham, AL 35226). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests with gratitude that donations be made to Bluff Park United Methodist Church's Under the Bridge Ministry.
