He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Hunter and Gracie Hunter; his sisters, Elizabeth and Tommie Jean; and his son Matthew.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughter Crystin Burton (Josh); his grandchildren, Emily, Elijah and John Michael Burton; and his brother Carl Hunter (Judy).
