He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Samuel Collins and Elvie Deanie Shaneyfelt Collins; and his brother Timothy Rodger Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Wayne Collins (Heather) of Decatur, Alabama. and Linda Gail Chesser (Ivan) of Mullin; his sister-in-law Pam Collins; and his siblings' children, Jala Chesser Yonkivich, Amber Chesser, Michelle Collins, Rhena Carr, Patrick Collins and Rocky Collins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peck Funeral Home (1600 Hwy 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
