He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Walters and Minnie Walters. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughter Rhonda Shelton (John); his grandchildren, Dylan and Josie; his daughters, Katrina Barker (John) and Dawn Havard (Chris); and his friends, Michael Attar, Ed Hollis, Ron Howard, Dylan Shelton, John Shelton and Jerry Bryant. He is also survived by his many nieces and grandnieces that are more like sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church Trussville and the Prescott House Child Advocacy Center.
