With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Alex Graves of Birmingham, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kate Alva Bulloch Graves and Alexander Benjamin Graves; and his wife Willodean Davis Graves. He is survived by: his children, Roy Stanly Graves (Debbie) and Kathy Sue Graves Justiss; and his grandchildren, Ben Graves (Mindi), Britt Graves (Amber), Davis Graves (Leslie), Aaron Justiss, Nate Justiss (Lindsay), Katie Justiss Baggett, Annie Justiss Rhodes (Dan) and Rachel Justiss. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Fairhope Chapel (19698 S Greeno Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Memory Gardens of Fairhope (19250 S Greeno Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532).
