Rubin Earl Grant Obituary

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Rubin Earl may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Tyler Grant Jr. and Delorious Jordan Grant; and his brothers, Roderick Grant and Alvin Grant. He is survived by: his wife Wardinia "Dena" (Long) of Birmingham, AL; his granddaughter Krystal Folkestad (Evan); and his sisters, Bonita Chaney (Manuel Jr.) and Yolanda Holmes (Glenn Sr.). He is also survived by one grandson, and many nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Brook Community Church (3001 US-280, Birmingham, AL 35243).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Voice of the Martyrs (persecution.org) to serve persecuted Christians around the world.
