We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2025, at the age of 81, Ruth Kate Kendrick of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Fort Jackson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth Kate has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Kendrick; her sons, John Kendrick (Donna) and Taylor Kendrick (Angela); her grandchildren, Noah Kendrick, Bethany Sandford (Austin) and Jonathan Kendrick; and her siblings, John Maddox, Jr. (Kathy) and Valerie Patterson (Pat). She is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Home Baptist Church (14019 Jessica Ln, Andalusia, AL 36420). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.
