It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry McCray (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Helen Walker and Lucy Conner; and her aunts, LaWanda Conner, Tamiko Conner and Vanessa Conner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jade and Jasmine Hinton; her brothers, DeAndre McCray Sr. (Michelle McCray) and Jeromy McCray; her great-aunt Annie Foreman; her uncle Broderick Means; her aunts, Marcia Bell (Frank), Valerie Avery (Gordy) and Tammy Wilson (Greg); and her close friend John Johnson. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
