With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen C. Henson of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Denver, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Stephen leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Stephen may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Henson and Evelyn Pogue Henson; and his nephew Robert Hill. He is survived by: his wife Donnie Henson; his daughters, Carly Murray (Jeff) and Melissa Wolcott (Chris); his grandsons, Adam Murray, Austin Murray, Logan Wolcott and Brody Wolcott; his sister Joan Hill (Ray); and his nephew Martin Hill (Emily). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
