He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Langdon (Yvonne James); his son Dalen Langdon; and his sister Carina Langdon. He is survived by: his son Connor Langdon; his father Dr. Thaddeus James Jr.; his siblings, David Langdon (Shay), Kameka Marshall (Ron), LaTangala James and Brandon James (Nicole Fraleigh); his siblings' children, Julie Langdon (Abby), Jhiron Marshall, Sarah Langdon, Keturah Crump, Wesleigh Washington, Jadah Marshall, Trinity Crump, Jazzmyn Crump and Kyrie Langdon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chananiy Crump, Ryikk Brown and Nesya Crump; his uncle Malcomb Webster (Shelia); his aunt Sharon Pridmore (Dave); his friend Pete; and his nephew Fred Harris. He is also survived by numerous cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Church (7501 Division Ave, Birmingham, AL 35206).
The family is asking that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to a GoFundMe site, https://gofund.me established in Stephen's name, to help defray funeral costs.
