He is survived by: his wife Denise Tew Wright; his daughters, Shelby Wood (Justin) and Danielle Allen (Josh); his grandchildren, Jackson Wood, Fisher Allen and Ryleigh Allen; his siblings, Tommy Wright (Cathy), Glynda Grier (Carson), Kelly Lloyd (Rick) and Gail Guge (Brett); and his brother-in-law David Tew (Karen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ridout's Trussville Chapel (1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
