She was predeceased by : her parents, George Vance and Jane Vance of Birmingham. She is survived by : her husband Wayne Sikes; her sister Patricia Pankow (Gerry) of Tampa; her nephew Rich Pankow (Jenny) of Nashville; her nieces, Susan Moss (John) of Fredericksburg and Kathryn Pankow of Atlanta; and her stepchildren, Stuart Sikes (Diane) of Austin and Elizabeth Sikes-Wirth (Jason) of Seattle.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Independent Presbyterian Church (3100 Highland Ave, Birmingham, AL 35205).
