We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Sybil N. Phillips of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Greensboro, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Raymond Nelson and Lillian Ganelle Payne Nelson; and her siblings, Kathleen Owens, William Mills, Morris Mills and Sarah Nell Sealy.
She is survived by: her husband Harold E. Phillips; her daughters, Jackie P. Chappell (Billy) and Barbara P. Taylor (Jeff); her grandchildren, Jamie Taylor Mincy (Josh), Forrest E. Taylor, Will J. Chappell (Katherine) and Callie P. Chappell; and her great grandchildren, Wade Mincy, Warren Mincy and Mary Wesley Chappell.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of West Alabama, where Sybil volunteered or to TCMG (Tuscaloosa County Masters Gardeners) c/o Tuscaloosa County Extension, 2513 7th Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, scholarship.
