He is survived by: his wife Monterey; his daughters, Lynne Monterey Hutton of Birmingham and Deborah Hiett Valenti (Matthew) of Los Angeles; and his grandson Kirby Whitaker Hutton of Los Angeles, California..
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Brookdale University Park (Gazebo Room) (400 University Park Dr, Birmingham, AL 35209).
