Teneda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Teneda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Teneda will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Diergo and Frank Diergo; and her husband Michael S. Latham. She is survived by: her children, Sam Latham, Rita Jones (Tommy), Renee Fox (Michael) and Frank Latham (Amy); her sister Marie Swift; and her brother-in-law Jack Latham (Diane).
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (1728 Oxmoor Rd, Homewood, AL 35209).
