She is survived by: her children, Charles McDaniel, Vernisha McDaniel and Curtis Simmons; her grandchildren, Kaniis, Kingston Reed, Ziya McDaniel, Curtis, Promiss and Skylee Simmons; her siblings, Jack McDaniel, Dwayne McDaniel (Brenda) and Joann Rolley (Rickey); and her cousin Anita Rhodes. She is also survived by sister to her; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the New Rising Star Church (7400 London Ave, Birmingham, AL 35206). A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Zion Memorial Gardens (501 Tarrant Huffman Rd, Birmingham, AL 35206).
