She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Rucks; her parents, Hiroshi Nakakura and Suma Nakakura; her parents-in-law, Edna and William Rucks; and her sisters, Masako Berry and Syoko Kuwakami.
She is survived by: her brothers, Michiko Ura, Takara Nakakura and Shuhei Nakakura; her sister-in-law Jeanette Hobbs of Robertsdale, AL; her nieces and nephews, Teresa Brooks (Barry), Harry Rucks (Tracey) and Robin Chambers; and her granddaughters, Angie Simon (Bryan), Haley Brooks, Mandy Duncan (Ace), Ally Bishop (Andy), Hannah Estes (Andy), Ellen Lathrop (Matt), Claudia Flynn (David) and Layne Rucks.
