We are sad to announce that, on April 22, 2026, at the age of 88, Thomas Anthony in Birmingham, Alabama, born in Laurinburg, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Anthony and Margaret Anthony; and his brother Joseph Anthony. He is survived by: his children, Vita Wooten (Tim), Pete Anthony and Jeffery Anthony (Leigh-Ann); the mother of his children Marguerite Anthony; his grandchildren, Scarlett Combs (Logan) and Jake Anthony; and his great grandchild Webb Cameron Combs.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel's Church in Greenville, NC, where Thomas was a parishioner.
