We announce the death of Travis Corbin of Birmingham, Alabama, born in Jasper, Alabama, who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Travis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Dovie Corbin. He is survived by: his wife Annette; his daughters, Kimberly Corbin and Mary Dell Schefano (Frank Schefano); his granddaughters, Dr. Nicole Corbin-Stein (Robert John Stein Jr.), Dr. Anna Schefano (Justin Edwards), Cameron Outland (Jabe Outland), Abby Schefano and Ava Schefano; his great grandchild Della Irene Outland; and his siblings-in-law, John Earl Barton (Janice Barton) and Diane Baxter (Donald Baxter). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kilgore Green Funeral Home (1200 Birmingham Ave, Jasper, AL 35501). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association (ADA).
