She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Dansby and Frank Dansby. She is survived by: her husband Stanley Tompkins; her sons, David Tompkins and Cary Tompkins; her daughter-in-law Cindy Tompkins; her brother Frank V. Dansby, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Martha Dansby.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ridout's Trussville Chapel (1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
