She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Yates Jr. (Ellen), Renee Roy (Ronnie) and Tanya West; her sister Pamela Bowar; her grandchildren, Jacey Brazelton, Taylor Powers (Jon), Bailey Juarez (Nic), Devin Roy (Audrey) and Ryan West; and her sister Jeanne Bradshaw.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
She was part of many organizations which include the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, and the Red Hat Society.
