With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Allen Shaw in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 14, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Oscar Shaw and Nella Beatrice Kidder; his sister Carol Jean Shaw; and his grandson Mason Lawry. He is survived by: his wife Rowena Caroline Shaw; his children, Lisa Renee Underwood, Melinda Caroline Lawry (Robert) and Trevor Allen Shaw (Lauren); his grandchildren, Preston Underwood, Addison Underwood, Savannah Underwood, McKenzie Johnson (Kiefer), Bennett Shaw, Mae Shaw and Caroline Shaw; and his great grandchild Emeline Lucille Johnson.
