He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Bunyon and Willie Mae Garner Barnett; his wife Mildred Alene Edge Barnett; his sons, Dyrel Dwayne Barnett and Larry Don Barnett; and his siblings, Alyne Barnett Williams and Gilbert Garner Barnett.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kay Stephens Barnett; his grandchildren, Jennifer Barnett Collins (Cade), Alison Barnett Murphy (Jason), Nicole Barnett Malone and Jeremy Barnett (Courtney); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Murphy, Madison Murphy, Mac Kenzie Collins, Walker Collins, Braydon Malone, Haven Malone, Levi Barnett and Lexi Barnett.
