It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Burgess (Birmingham, Alabama), who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Burgess and A. E. Burgess; and his sister Nancy Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Burgess (Andrews); his daughters, Amanda Britton (Jason Britton), Hannah Burgess (Davis Platt) and Bailey Burgess; his grandson Jason Gabriel Britton II; and his siblings, Peggy Burdette (Harold), Pat Kilpatrick (Andy) and Arthur E. Burgess, Jr.. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to bethematchfoundation.org.
