He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Braswell; his children, Brian Hite (Jenny), Preston Hite (Janelle), W. Charlie Braswell III (Mary Lee) and Rachel Braswell; and his former wife Lutheree Braswell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Valleydale Church (2324 Valleydale Rd, Birmingham, AL 35244). A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
