He is survived by : his wife Virginia Dorough Cox; his children, William Talmadge "Tal" Cox and Elise Cox Pratt; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Nicole Cox, Peyton Pratt Hale (Clark Hale) and William Thomas "Will" Pratt; his great grandchild Maggie Elizabeth Hale; and his sister-in-law Matha H. Dorough. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
